- Open fallopian tubes
- A normal uterine cavity
- Good egg quality
- Under the age of 40
Criteria for the male party whether it be the husband, partner, or donor the following must be met [3]:
- Good sperm count
- Good mobility (movement of sperm)
- Proper sperm morphology (shape of sperm)
- For donor sperm: the sample must be tested for infectious diseases and viruses, like HIV
